Description:
The Museum, certified a "Musée de France", is housed in the "Celliers de la Coudraye", a wine cellar whose architecture is typical of the end of the 19th century. The museum shows the evolution of wine-growing from the disastrous phylloxera crisis in the 1880s right through to the 1960s.
Within the museum you will find many exhibits reflecting the heritage of the local vineyards with over 1000 square metres of displays reflecting the history of winegrowing in Anjou and the Coteaux du Layon.
Free Parking, picnic area and vineyard paths nearby.
Opening Times (2012):
April 1: museum will open its doors from 11h to 18h30.
From April 2 to June 30: Wed-Fri from 14h30 to 17h30; weekends & holidays from 14h30 to 18h30.
From 1 July to 31 August: Every day from 11h to 13h & 15h to 19h
September 1 to November 11: Weekends & holidays from 14h30 to 18h30.
Adult : €5.20 euro
Children (from 7 to 14 years old): €3.40
Family (2 adults and 2 children or more) : €14
